Our mission is to help the general public grasp the concepts of blockchain easily by simplifying the abstract theories and presenting the contents in a straightforward manner. Besides that, we also provide coaching, training and consultancy services for readers or business owners who need to learn more about the blockchain technologies. Our Coach and webmaster Dr.Liew has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Hons) and a Master of Management (Distinction and Top Student Award) from the University of Malaya, as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
Dr. Liew is a Blockchain Architect who is experienced in designing and building blockchain platforms. In addition, he provides consultancy services on IEO and STO projects, including writing whitepapers.
Besides that, he has successfully completed two certification courses on blockchain by the Linux Foundation, the world’s largest open-source software development platform. His certificates are:
- Blockchain for Business – An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies
- Blockchain: Understanding Its Uses and Implications
On top of that, he has also successfully completed a workshop on Hyperledger Fabric by AWS Asia.
Dr. Liew is also a blockchain researcher and has developed a number of use cases such as blockchain-powered supply chain management for the automotive and textile industries, building a blockchain-powered digital government, and more. He is skilled in setting up blockchain networks such as private Ethereum networks, as well as writing smart contracts using Solidity and creating Dapps.
Dr. Liew has been involved in programming for more than 40 years, starting with mainframe computers in the 1970’s and desktop computing in the 1980’s. Dr. Liew is vastly experienced in creating and delivering online educational content. In 1995, he created the popular online Visual Basic Tutorial at www.vbtutor.net, which has attracted millions of visitors since then. It has consistently been one of the highest-ranked Visual Basic websites. In addition, he also runs tutorials on JavaScript, jQuery, HTML&CSS, and Excel VBA .
Besides that, Dr. Liew has authored the Visual Basic Made Easy series, which have been used in high school and university computer science courses all over the world. On top of that, he has also written books on Blockchain(Blockchain Made Easy), Excel VBA, JavaScript, online business, and e-commerce. His books are all available on Amazon.com and Google PlayStore.
In addition, Dr. Liew is the founder and executive director of Easywave Technology Berhad, a mobile payment company which has signed a master merchant acquirer agreement with Ambank Berhad (a Malaysian bank) to supply Smart POS terminals to merchants. The Smart POS terminal is EMV certified and capable of accepting all kinds of credit cards, debit cards and QR payments. There is a plan to develop cryptocurrency-based payment methods in the near future. Besides that, he has founded Easywave Global Sdn Bhd, a company that was set up for venturing into foreign mobile payment industries. Recently, he has formed another technology company, Data Smart PLT, that will focus on developing solutions for AI/ML(machine learning)/Blockchain/Big Data Analytics
